- I was born and raised in Mississauga, just oustide Toronto (in Canada). My parents were born in Poland, and moved to Toronto, where they met, got married, and ended up raising 5 daughters (insert me into the #4 slot of 5 please). My last year of high school I had no clue what I wanted to be, so I flipped through a college book of careers in 1986 and my finger fell on COMPUTERS. So I did it. Went to college... studied computers.... and 20 years later... I'm still doing Computers! Well, you know what I mean. My real passion is photography, which I have no schooling in, but I have a LOVE for it, and an EYE for it, and hope one day I can pursue my dream of being a photographer. In 1996 I visited a good friend in Boston, where I met her boyfriend and his best friend... well that best friend is now my husband, and well I moved to America to follow my heart and make new dreams come true! We bought our first little home by not 1 but 2 beaches, and we are the proud parents of one amazing little girl. Jolie turned 6 in March, my how time flies. And I also have 2 incredibly cute and wonderful step sons James & Alex who are now 18! Life is good for us by the beach!

I read your blog often, but this is the first time I have commented. Just wanted to let you know how incredible your pictures are...I mean truly beautiful and breathtaking. You definitely have a gift.

:) My daughter Jolie inspires me to capture beauty - she brings out the gift in me I guess.
